HSIE Students Work 

 

The HSIE Faculty is a diverse faculty with a wide range of expertise. The study of HSIE subjects allows students to study aspects of the world and humanity.

In Year 7 – 9 subjects are semesterised and students study both History and Geography.

In Year 10 students study both History and Geography for the entire year.

In HSIE subjects students learn about the past, the present and how people's cultural, social, and physical environments combine to create the world they live in. Students are encouraged to think critically and to ask questions. Students develop research, literacy and analytical skills which will help them to become informed citizens.
