Commencing 2025, Leumeah High School will offer scholarships for Year 7 students, whilst they are in Year 7, consisting of a school credit for the period of one year. Five scholarships will be offered to students from our Community of Schools (Leumeah Public School, Ruse Public School, Kentlyn Public School and Briar Road Public School). One student from each school will be nominated by their Classroom Teacher and endorsed by their Principal. The scholarships will be presented at the school’s Annual Presentation Day by the Leumeah High School Principal and Deputy Principal.
Additional scholarships will be offered to students who apply externally. Successful applicants will need to display academic excellence and/or high potential and meet the scholarship criteria. Families will be able to apply via our online application form or by contacting the school. Eligibility for these scholarships is based on students’ academic potential and is not means tested.
Successful recipients of the Academic Excellence Scholarship will be determined by the Leumeah High School Scholarship Panel, consisting of the Principal, Deputy Principal and Year Adviser.
